About the Role
Architect, optimize, and maintain critical infrastructure connecting UTA's 12 global offices, including high-availability inter-office and cloud-edge connectivity, AWS and Azure integrations, identity, email, servers, monitoring, security, disaster recovery, and automation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Systems or Network Engineering experience managing multi-site global connectivity.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, HA WAN environments, and physical Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of data room components, low-voltage cabling, patch panels, UPS systems, and IoT/security devices.
- Strong AWS and Azure networking and secure hybrid routing experience.
- Production expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and cloud identity governance.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers and Azure Update Manager.
- Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, RTO, and RPO metrics.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Advanced Exchange Online, mail flow, DKIM, DMARC, and SPF knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize network connectivity across 12 global offices.
- Manage physical and logical office networks, including Cisco Meraki, HA WAN, wireless, UPS, rack patching, cabling, access control, and IP cameras.
- Architect and maintain secure AWS and Azure network infrastructure and cloud-to-prem connectivity.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, and Conditional Access policies.
- Manage Windows and Linux servers and patching with Azure Update Manager.
- Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, email security, and mail flow.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, automation, infrastructure standards, and documentation.
- Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and partner with Security on preventative controls and incident response.
