About the Role
You will design and further develop mechanical systems for industrial automation projects. You will analyze existing designs, develop robust components, select parts, build and test prototypes, and align designs with control and process requirements. You will create technical drawings, assembly instructions, and CE documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in automation, robotics, and mechanical design for complex machines or special-purpose equipment
- Experience designing functional and reliable solutions
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks
- Knowledge of CE safety concepts
- Willingness to travel
- German and English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and further develop mechanical systems for industrial automation projects
- Analyze existing designs and propose improvements
- Develop robust mechanical components in accordance with the Machinery Directive and relevant standards
- Coordinate with PLC programmers and automation specialists
- Select components, create prototypes, and validate designs through testing
- Create technical drawings, assembly instructions, and CE documentation
