About the Role

Own the full lifecycle of utility infrastructure agreements, including negotiation, amendments, obligation tracking, utility requirements, reliability compliance, construction agreements, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting.

Requirements

8+ years in the electric utility sector or negotiating and managing utility agreements
Experience with large-load interconnection, energy service or electric service agreements, and utility construction agreements
Strong command of utility tariffs, connection requirements, interconnection processes, metering standards, and reliability obligations
Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction lifecycle
Experience negotiating complex infrastructure agreements
Exceptional contract management, organization, and attention to detail
Strong cross-functional communication skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities

Lead utility infrastructure agreement negotiations
Manage agreement obligations and responsibility matrices
Track contractual citations, deadlines, owners, and statuses
Run monthly deadline reviews and escalate at-risk items
Translate utility requirements into engineering and operations requirements
Manage construction agreement obligations
Coordinate across business functions and data center tenants
Report obligation status, counterparty performance, and contract risks
