About the Role

Own the full lifecycle of utility infrastructure agreements, including negotiation, amendments, obligation tracking, utility requirements, reliability compliance, construction agreements, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in the electric utility sector or negotiating and managing utility agreements
  • Experience with large-load interconnection, energy service or electric service agreements, and utility construction agreements
  • Strong command of utility tariffs, connection requirements, interconnection processes, metering standards, and reliability obligations
  • Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction lifecycle
  • Experience negotiating complex infrastructure agreements
  • Exceptional contract management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities

  • Lead utility infrastructure agreement negotiations
  • Manage agreement obligations and responsibility matrices
  • Track contractual citations, deadlines, owners, and statuses
  • Run monthly deadline reviews and escalate at-risk items
  • Translate utility requirements into engineering and operations requirements
  • Manage construction agreement obligations
  • Coordinate across business functions and data center tenants
  • Report obligation status, counterparty performance, and contract risks
