About the Role

You will lead people and programs within a growing R&D organization. You will recruit and develop technical team members, manage performance, establish operating processes, coordinate with engineering groups, oversee technology evaluations and pilots, manage external partnerships, and help advance infrastructure technologies from concept through deployment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct people management experience
  • 5+ years of technical program or project management experience in infrastructure, manufacturing, data center, or related engineering environments
  • Technical background covering data center infrastructure, power systems, cooling, and compute
  • Experience building teams, functions, or organizational capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard R&D team members
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and manage career development and performance
  • Develop phased hiring roadmaps, role profiles, interview processes, and onboarding programs
  • Manage technology evaluations, partner engagements, feasibility pilots, and cross-functional projects
  • Establish intake workflows, project tracking, resource allocation, reporting cadences, and governance structures
  • Coordinate planning and engagements between R&D and engineering teams
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, startups, and research partners
