About the Role
You will lead concurrent international defense programs and own cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction. You will manage customer relationships, contracts, export-compliance activities, schedules, forecasts, risks, reporting, cross-functional execution, and frequent international travel.
Requirements
- 8+ years of program management experience supporting defense or aerospace programs
- Experience managing international defense programs for foreign government or military customers
- Experience owning cost, schedule, and performance for customer-facing programs
- Experience managing complex contracts
- Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR export-control regulations
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience managing complex program financials
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally frequently
- U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple international defense programs
- Own program cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction
- Manage relationships with international government, military, and industry stakeholders
- Lead industrial partnerships and technology-transfer initiatives
- Manage international contracts, changes, disputes, milestones, and payments
- Coordinate export-control compliance activities
- Translate customer requirements into cross-functional execution plans
- Maintain schedules, forecasts, staffing plans, and risk registers
- Report program performance to executives and customers
- Support regional business-development and capture efforts
- Mentor program managers
- Travel internationally for customer engagement
