About the Role

You will build and own centralized schedule management across the portfolio. You will develop concept and delivery schedules, integrate contractor and vendor plans, track progress, analyze risk and delays, enforce schedule governance, and produce performance reporting through project turnover.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of scheduling and project controls experience on large capital construction programs
  • Hands-on project delivery experience through commissioning and turnover
  • Experience building or substantially rebuilding a scheduling function
  • Experience developing concept and preconstruction schedules
  • Experience building or using historical schedule databases and benchmark data
  • Data center, mission-critical, hyperscale, HPC, heavy industrial, or utility-scale experience preferred
  • Expert-level Primavera P6 knowledge
  • Microsoft Project and Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of CPM scheduling theory
  • Knowledge of earned value management, time impact analysis, and quantitative schedule risk analysis
  • Power BI, SQL, or equivalent data structuring and analytics capability
  • Understanding of data center design, construction, and utility interconnection sequencing
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Professional certifications related to the role preferred
  • Willingness to travel periodically to project sites, vendor facilities, and partner locations
  • On-site at least three days per week

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own the centralized scheduling function
  • Maintain the plan of record for every project
  • Build enterprise structures, EPS and WBS hierarchies, coding dictionaries, calendars, layouts, and security
  • Define work breakdown, packaging, sequencing, and phasing strategies
  • Maintain the multi-year portfolio delivery plan
  • Develop concept and feasibility-stage schedules
  • Model entitlement, permitting, utility interconnection, and power energization paths
  • Support site selection, capital planning, and investment approval
  • Own integrated master schedules through turnover
  • Integrate contractor, vendor, A&E, utility, and equipment schedules
  • Align schedules with commissioning and L0–L5 requirements
  • Author scheduling processes, procedures, and templates
  • Define schedule requirements for contractor and consultant agreements
  • Apply DCMA 14-point or equivalent schedule quality checks
  • Build the historical schedule database and WBS structure
  • Develop duration, critical path, and milestone benchmarks
  • Maintain reference and template schedules
  • Define progress measurement rules and earned progress curves
  • Produce and interpret SPI, float, critical path, slippage, and installation metrics
  • Validate contractor progress against field verification and installed quantities
  • Maintain schedule risk registers and run quantitative schedule risk analysis
  • Assess time impacts from changes, RFIs, design revisions, weather, and utility delays
  • Prepare and review time impact analyses
  • Enforce schedule change governance
  • Produce portfolio schedule dashboards and executive reporting
