About the Role
You will execute and scale IT SOX compliance activities, including IT general controls, application controls, risk assessments, testing, documentation, and remediation. You will advise on controls for automated DevOps environments, improve monitoring through automation, guide internal and co-sourced contributors, and coordinate evidence and testing with external auditors.
Requirements
- Hands-on IT audit or IT SOX compliance experience
- Knowledge of IT general controls, IT application controls, and IT risk assessment methodologies
- Experience auditing automated DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployments
- Experience designing, testing, and documenting access management, change management, and computer operations controls
- Ability to guide internal team members or co-sourced partners
- Project management and organizational skills
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience
Responsibilities
- Advise on the design of technology controls for an AI-first environment
- Assess the design and implementation of scalable controls with Engineering, Security, IT, and DevOps
- Assess new system implementations and changes
- Identify automation opportunities for control efficiency and continuous monitoring
- Scope and plan annual SOX IT assessments
- Execute IT SOX testing across IT general and application controls
- Perform system and process risk assessments and recommend remediation
- Own control documentation and maintain audit-ready evidence
- Evaluate automated IT controls and support automated control reliance
- Scale and standardize the IT SOX program
- Guide internal team members and co-sourced partners
- Coordinate IT SOX evidence, walkthroughs, and testing schedules with external auditors
- Track audit-findings remediation and communicate status
- Support SEC cybersecurity disclosure requirements and risk monitoring
