About the Role
You will establish and lead the hardware technical program management function. You will define the product development process, oversee concurrent programs from concept through production, manage program managers, address portfolio risks, and align delivery work across technical and business functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 12+ years as a Hardware Technical Program Manager
- 5+ years leading and managing TPM teams
- Track record of shipping hardware products to production
- Experience defining and implementing a hardware product development process
- Experience managing 10+ concurrent hardware programs
- Experience hiring and leading a Hardware TPM team
- Technical fluency in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and system architecture
- Cross-functional leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the hardware TPM function, including structure, processes, and best practices
- Hire, lead, and develop Hardware Technical Program Managers
- Define and own the hardware product development process from concept through production
- Oversee a portfolio of concurrent hardware programs for schedule, quality, and cost
- Set program-management standards and tooling and maintain accountability for milestones
- Align hardware roadmaps with engineering, software, operations, procurement, and business priorities
- Identify portfolio risks and drive process improvements
- Report program health, risks, and resourcing needs to senior leadership
