About the Role
You will establish and lead a construction hub in northern Netherlands, initially delivering a large project involving more than 100 homes and a hotel. You will plan logistics, manage people and robots on site, coordinate with contractors, oversee delivery, and take responsibility for project profitability. You will also improve operational systems, develop customer relationships, report site issues to R&D, and help recruit operators.
Requirements
- At least three years of startup experience as an operator, manager, or founder
- Native-level Dutch
- Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a small team
- Strong operational and analytical skills
- Ability to develop operational plans in spreadsheets, present profit and loss statements, and model scenarios
- Strong project-management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with people from varied backgrounds
- Ability to work under high pressure in a changing construction-site environment
Responsibilities
- Plan construction-project logistics, including robot and staffing needs, subcontractor coordination, and daily schedules
- Lead, coach, and motivate the on-site team
- Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, customers, and other stakeholders
- Create and improve operational systems, processes, and project margins
- Develop new construction projects with existing customers
- Own the project profit and loss statement and propose cost and revenue improvements
- Ensure high-quality masonry is delivered on time
- Report construction-site bottlenecks to the R&D team
- Recruit and interview robot operators and deployment operators
