About the Role
Serve as a strategic finance partner to Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations. Own financial planning, cost analysis, lifecycle analysis, and reporting; evaluate supplier contracts and capital purchases; build unit economics and inventory models; analyze spending variances; prepare executive reporting; lead cost-reduction initiatives; support scenario planning; automate reporting; and mentor junior finance professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience with significant supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing finance exposure.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Anaplan, or similar.
- Ability to translate operational data into financial insights and executive-ready narratives.
- Experience partnering with procurement and operations teams on supplier contracts, capital planning, and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in a high-growth technology, infrastructure, energy, or data center environment preferred.
- Experience with hardware, data center, or physical infrastructure supply chains is a bonus.
- Familiarity with capital equipment accounting and depreciation schedules is a bonus.
- Prior experience building FP&A processes at a scaling company is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end FP&A for the supply chain organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Evaluate supplier contracts, capital equipment purchases, and total cost of ownership.
- Build financial models for unit economics, landed cost, and inventory metrics.
- Analyze actual versus forecasted spending variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop monthly and quarterly executive reporting packages.
- Lead cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives.
- Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Create a lifecycle management program with the business.
- Partner with Accounting on capitalization, accrual, and cost allocation.
- Improve and automate financial reporting processes and tools.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
