About the Role
You will lead SEC reporting and financial disclosures, manage EDGAR and XBRL filing processes, research technical accounting matters, and build the ICFR framework. You will coordinate with auditors and business partners to maintain accurate reporting and remediate control issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 3 years of public-company audit experience at a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
- Experience preparing 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings and using EDGAR
- Knowledge of XBRL and inline XBRL
- Project management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports, proxy statements, and registration statements
- Draft MD&A, financial statement footnotes, earnings releases, and disclosures
- Coordinate external audit reviews and audit-support documentation
- Monitor SEC, FASB, and PCAOB requirements
- Manage EDGAR filing, XBRL tagging, and inline XBRL compliance
- Research and document technical accounting issues
- Lead the design, documentation, testing, and remediation of SOX controls
- Coordinate control documentation and risk assessments across business functions
- Support investor relations, Audit Committee materials, financing activities, and M&A due diligence
