About the Role
You will architect and build scalable, low-latency backend systems supporting real-time communications, clip storage, feeds, and social features. You will design APIs, evolve infrastructure, mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments
- Java proficiency
- Experience building scalable microservices
- RESTful API design expertise
- Distributed-systems knowledge
- MySQL or PostgreSQL experience including performance tuning and schema design
- Experience handling thousands of requests per second
- Cloud infrastructure experience with GCP or AWS
- CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code experience
- System design, architectural patterns, and security best practices
- Communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
