About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain pay-in and pay-out systems for financial transactions. You will develop Kafka-based event-driven workflows, make architecture decisions, write tested Java code, improve reliability and observability, and resolve production incidents. You will work with product, compliance, and finance stakeholders and mentor fellow engineers.

- Java backend development experience
- Event-driven architecture knowledge
- Apache Kafka experience
- Distributed fault-tolerant microservice experience
- Relational database experience
- PostgreSQL knowledge
- Cloud-native infrastructure knowledge
- AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD knowledge
- English communication skills
- AI-assisted development-tool familiarity
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain pay-in and pay-out systems
- Design Kafka-based event-driven pipelines and workflows
- Lead architecture discussions and define technical standards
- Write clean, well-tested, high-performance Java code
- Use AI-assisted development and spec-driven development practices
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production incidents
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical discussions
- Instrument services with metrics, logs, and traces
