About the Role
Technical leadership role on the Government Systems team, responsible for secure deployment infrastructure serving government and high-security customers.
Requirements
- Deep production Kubernetes experience at scale.
- Expert Terraform proficiency, including module design and state management.
- Strong Linux systems administration skills.
- Extensive CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
- Deep familiarity with AWS infrastructure and security services.
- Strong operational mindset focused on reliability and automation.
- Eligibility to access U.S. Government information and systems; only U.S. citizens are eligible.
Responsibilities
- Lead RKE2 Kubernetes cluster design, upgrades, capacity planning, networking, and resilience.
- Architect and maintain Terraform infrastructure for AWS environments.
- Own GitHub Actions CI/CD platform architecture and reliability.
- Drive GitOps delivery with Flux CD, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Define container image lifecycle policies across OCI registries.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident response practices.
- Support product teams integrating with deployment pipelines.
- Own platform security, including secrets, certificates, RBAC, and compliance controls.
- Mentor and grow other engineers.
