About the Role
You will own Okta Workforce Identity, automate its configuration through Terraform, and build lifecycle provisioning from Workday. You will roll out passkeys and FastPass, eliminate password sign-in, integrate identity verification for onboarding and recovery, and support federation between Okta and Auth0.
Requirements
- 5+ years in identity or platform engineering, including at least 2 years running Okta in production at scale
- Experience rolling out passwordless authentication using FIDO2, WebAuthn, passkeys, Okta FastPass, or similar
- Experience with Okta Workflows, Okta APIs, SCIM, and Terraform configuration-as-code tooling
- Experience with HR-driven provisioning, ideally from Workday
- Scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar
- Experience using Git and code review
Responsibilities
- Operate Okta Workforce Identity, including authentication policies, device assurance, roles, groups, and application integrations
- Manage Okta configuration through Terraform with review, testing, and staged releases
- Build joiner, mover, and leaver automation using Workday, Okta Workflows, and APIs
- Support federation between Okta and Auth0
- Roll out passkeys, Okta FastPass, and FIDO2 hardware keys
- Design verified identity recovery workflows
- Integrate identity verification into onboarding and account recovery
