About the Role
You will lead the architecture, modernization, and optimization of classified HPC storage systems. You will translate mission requirements into resilient infrastructure, automate engineering work, improve performance and observability, resolve complex issues, integrate security controls, mentor staff, and guide technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- BS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field and at least eight years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications
- At least five years of experience supporting Intelligence Community environments or missions
- Ability to independently lead complex technical efforts
- Eligibility for Sensitive or Special Access Program information
- Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Ability to obtain and maintain required SCI clearance
- Ability to participate in planned maintenance and an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, modernization, and optimization of HPC storage systems
- Translate mission requirements into secure and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Define hardware, software, storage, networking, and integration requirements
- Develop prototypes, automation, scripts, and engineering solutions
- Establish technical standards and lifecycle strategies
- Optimize storage performance, scalability, availability, and data movement
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Develop monitoring, metrics, and observability
- Support lifecycle planning and coordinate with vendors
- Architect and operate infrastructure under classified-computing and cybersecurity requirements
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities
- Mentor technical staff and evaluate emerging technologies
- Guide technical roadmaps for HPC storage infrastructure
