About the Role
You will own Google Workspace administration, configuration, governance, security, integrations, and continuous improvement. You will administer core Workspace services, configure controls, support identity integrations, automate lifecycle work, create operational documentation, and safely roll out new capabilities including Gemini.
Requirements
- 5+ years administering Google Workspace in a production environment
- Knowledge of Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Groups, Shared Drives, and Google Admin console
- Workspace security and governance experience
- Scripting or automation experience with Google APIs, Apps Script, PowerShell, or Python
- Documentation and technical communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own Google Workspace administration, escalations, and configuration
- Define configuration, sharing, lifecycle, access, licensing, and architecture standards
- Configure security controls, email security, audit logging, and data-protection settings
- Support phishing protection, DLP, retention, and incident-response requirements
- Maintain audit evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and SOX
- Ensure integrations with SSO, MFA, SCIM, and joiner-mover-leaver processes
- Create runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles
- Automate administration, reporting, and lifecycle tasks
- Build Workspace health, adoption, security, and compliance reports
- Test and roll out Workspace capabilities including Gemini
