About the Role
You will own the full engineering lifecycle, from design through production deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. You will build full-stack applications, contribute primarily to backend development, make architectural decisions, maintain operational reliability, resolve production incidents, review code, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience owning and delivering end-to-end features in production
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Experience managing development and operational aspects of software with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Prior senior-level mentoring or guidance experience
- Right to work in the applicable work jurisdiction
Responsibilities
- Own the software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to refine feature requirements
- Lead architectural decisions for scalable and maintainable solutions
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes for reliable features
- Mentor and guide junior developers
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality, security, and performance standards
- Troubleshoot production incidents and improve system resilience
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases
- Optimize application performance and resolve complex technical issues
