About the Role
You will build the technology powering Via's Operation Center, the real-time heartbeat of our global service. You will have full-stack ownership, working with a sophisticated stack and a team that values high-quality craft. You will lead development of complex routing, driver dispatching, and mass-scale user communication systems, architect and ship features across React/TypeScript/Redux and Python microservices, and integrate AI-driven tools like Copilot and Cursor into your daily workflow. You will mentor junior and mid-level engineers, drive technical roadmaps, and collaborate directly with Product and Design to translate ambiguous operational challenges into elegant, scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience shipping production-grade software
- Expert-level proficiency in React and Python
- Proven track record of owning large-scale features from concept to deployment
- Experience integrating AI tools into engineering workflows
- High agency in identifying and fixing bottlenecks
- Leadership mindset with experience guiding technical direction
- Pragmatic approach to balancing perfect systems with market demands
Responsibilities
