About the Role

You will support month-end close activities including reconciliations, revenue recognition, cost allocations, accruals, and intercompany transactions. You will prepare financial reports, strengthen internal controls, develop automated reporting processes, collaborate on financial priorities, and monitor reporting standards and tax requirements across the Americas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of relevant experience in financial services fintech or crypto
• Deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with financial reporting planning and performance analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Sound judgment and ability to communicate outcomes to senior management
• Proactive problem-solving ability
• Experience across time zones and multicultural teams is beneficial
• Experience at a crypto exchange or fintech organization is beneficial
• Interest in blockchain technology and crypto payments is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Manage revenue recognition cost allocations accruals and intercompany transactions
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
• Enhance internal control frameworks
• Develop automated financial reporting and analytics processes
• Align financial priorities with business objectives
• Monitor reporting standards and tax mandates across the Americas
