About the Role

You will support accounting and finance operations across entities in Singapore, Germany, and India. You will manage reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, accounts payable, banking, treasury, intercompany transactions, month-end closing, tax compliance, billing, reimbursements, and financial consolidation. You will prepare financial reports and board materials, analyze performance and trends, strengthen internal controls, improve working capital management, and coordinate annual audits with external vendors and auditors.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in Accounting or an ACCA qualification; Chartered Accountant or CPA credentials are preferred
• Have at least four years of experience in finance or audit, preferably within technology startups or fast-growth companies
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS
• Possess experience handling full sets of accounts and financial consolidation
• Have experience drafting financial statements and forecasts
• Demonstrate critical thinking, ownership, technical knowledge, and technical acumen
• Be accustomed to fast-paced and dynamic environments
• Understand and use AI tools to improve efficiency
• Demonstrate analytical and solution-oriented capabilities
• Have a proven record of process improvement and automation
• Experience with Indian and German accounting standards is preferred
• Experience working with decentralized cross-functional teams is preferred
• Proficiency in NetSuite is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and finance functions, including reporting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage financial operations for entities in Singapore, Germany, and India
• Coordinate with external accounting and payment vendors on accounts payable, banking, treasury, intercompany transactions, month-end closing, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with external tax vendors to ensure tax filings and compliance with local and international statutory regulations
• Oversee expense claims and employee reimbursements in accordance with company policies
• Prepare timely internal and external financial reports
• Review historical financial performance and conduct variance analysis
• Identify financial trends and anomalies and provide actionable insights
• Support effective working capital management
• Establish and reinforce internal controls aligned with corporate governance requirements
• Oversee accurate customer billing
• Support annual audits across all entities
• Coordinate with external accounting vendors and auditors
• Prepare board meeting materials
• Handle additional finance and accounting responsibilities as required
