About the Role
You will lead and scale engineers and managers building service frameworks, RPC infrastructure, core libraries, request-context propagation, and overload protection. You will set the long-term technical strategy, deliver complex initiatives, develop leaders, and align partner organizations around the platform roadmap.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, service frameworks, or platform infrastructure
- 4+ years of engineering management experience
- Technical judgment in large-scale distributed systems
- Understanding of customer interactions with platform products across multiple components
- Experience attracting, hiring, retaining, coaching, and mentoring technical talent
- Performance management and promotion experience
- Experience building and operating cloud platforms or ability to learn SaaS concepts
