About the Role
You will lead a team of approximately 15 engineers across iOS Android web backend and LLM and AI specialties. You will guide the Concierge roadmap from scoping through launch deliver complex AI powered features manage ambiguity communicate with senior leadership and establish strong quality reliability and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering management experience leading teams of 10 or more
- Experience leading user facing product development
- Experience building or scaling zero to one products
- Strong partnership skills with product managers
- Experience translating business goals into engineering plans
- Comfort engaging with senior leadership and C suite stakeholders
- Experience establishing service reliability and quality practices
- Familiarity with LLM or AI systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with regulated financial products or wealth management offerings is a plus
- Experience across platform infrastructure and product engineering is a plus
- Experience supporting organizational transitions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an engineering team of approximately 15 engineers
- Own hiring performance management and career development
- Partner with product managers and data scientists to execute the Concierge roadmap
- Drive delivery of zero to one AI powered product features
- Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Represent engineering progress risks and tradeoffs to senior leadership
- Establish quality measures reliability standards and engineering best practices
- Promote accountability technical excellence and continuous improvement
