About the Role
You will lead simulation-driven testing, automation, and software-quality work for autonomy software. You will build test frameworks, develop Python tools, execute test plans, diagnose defects, validate software across simulated and real-world environments, and integrate test coverage into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 2–4 years with a Master’s degree, 2 years with a PhD, or equivalent work experience
- Python proficiency
- Experience in robotics, small UAS, or related hands-on engineering projects
- Analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- US citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop automated regression, integration, and system-level tests
- Identify, reproduce, and diagnose software issues
- Create and execute test plans and documentation for autonomy software
- Design, implement, and maintain simulation-based test frameworks
- Build Python tools for test automation, data processing, and analysis
- Develop test harnesses and data-validation tools for SIL, HIL, VIL, and simulation environments
- Define testing methodologies, metrics, and performance benchmarks
- Support the scaling and reliability of simulation infrastructure
- Maintain test documentation and traceability
- Integrate test coverage into CI/CD pipelines
