About the Role
You will integrate and verify mission autonomy software on aircraft hardware across software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop environments. You will develop test plans and automation, troubleshoot interfaces, coordinate vendor lab execution, and support ground and flight testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a master's degree, in a relevant engineering field
- Experience with system integration and testing in SIL, HIL, simulation, and flight-test environments
- Ability to author integration test plans, procedures, and test cards
- Experience troubleshooting complex system interfaces using telemetry, logs, packet capture, or diagnostic equipment
- Linux and scripting proficiency, preferably Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Integrate and verify mission autonomy software on aircraft hardware in SIL and HIL labs
- Develop integration test plans, test cards, schedules, and success criteria
- Identify interface and hardware/software gaps and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate lab readiness and joint integration campaigns with aircraft vendors
- Execute integration tests, configure test benches, and troubleshoot anomalies
- Develop test automation and simulation scripts
- Gate flight readiness and support flight-test preparation, troubleshooting, and data analysis
- Travel to test sites, customer events, and integration activities as required
