About the Role
You will develop, integrate, and test configurable Run-Time Assurance components for safe autonomous operation. You will adapt reusable C++ capabilities for production, implement real-time interfaces, support hardware-in-the-loop and flight testing, and strengthen verification evidence through testing, analysis, documentation, and traceability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years with a Master’s degree, or 2 years with a PhD
- Strong modern C++ development, testing, debugging, and performance-aware design experience
- Experience with real-time, embedded, robotics, autonomy, aerospace, or constrained systems
- Software and hardware integration or HIL experience
- Git and Linux development skills
- CI/CD and test-focused development experience
- Technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and test Run-Time Assurance components
- Adapt reusable C++ safety capabilities into production runtime components
- Implement real-time C++ code for autonomy, middleware, and flight-control interfaces
- Integrate software with aircraft hardware for HIL and flight-test campaigns
- Produce CI, analysis, design, documentation, test, and traceability evidence
- Share safe software practices through reviews and technical write-ups
