About the Role

You will build, integrate, and improve production-grade software that powers real-world robot behavior. You will develop C++ and Python software, integrate autonomy and platform capabilities, investigate system failures, build developer tooling, and validate features directly on robots in outdoor environments.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, or complex embedded systems
• Experience deploying physical hardware products into the field
• Strong C++ and Python programming proficiency
• Experience in robotics domains such as perception, motion planning, controls, localization, state estimation, system integration, or robot behavior
• Experience with Linux development environments, command-line tools, debugging, scripting, and system-level troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues spanning software, hardware, sensors, and distributed systems
• Ability to collaborate in office five days per week

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production robotics software using C++ and Python
• Integrate robotics capabilities across perception, planning, controls, teleoperation, and platform software
• Improve software quality through testing, validation, fault handling, performance tuning, and edge-case analysis
• Investigate failures across software, sensors, networking, timing, and hardware interfaces
• Build internal tools, scripts, and workflows for testing, observability, and release quality
• Validate new features directly on robot hardware and iterate through real-world testing
