About the Role
You will lead integration and flight-test campaigns for mission autonomy. You will develop test strategies, determine test readiness, manage risk, direct test execution, analyze flight data, investigate defects, and maintain traceability to requirements and mission outcomes.
Requirements
- Five or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, four years with a master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in system integration and testing across SIL, HIL, simulation, and flight-test environments
- Ability to manage complex, fast-paced test campaigns
- Communication skills for safety-of-flight processes, hazard analysis, and configuration control
- Ability to analyze flight logs, telemetry, and system behavior to identify root causes
- Ability to collaborate across software, hardware, product, and test organizations
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or ability to obtain one
Responsibilities
- Lead system-level integration and flight-test campaigns
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios, and success criteria
- Own test-readiness and phase-gate decisions across simulation, SIL, HIL, ground, and flight testing
- Plan, direct, and execute fly-fix-fly campaigns
- Approve test procedures and execution plans
- Lead risk assessments, hazard analyses, and mitigation planning
- Define and maintain test infrastructure
- Analyze flight logs, telemetry, rosbags, and system data to identify defects and root causes
- Document anomalies and corrective actions and maintain traceability to requirements
- Serve as the primary test interface to leadership, customers, and external stakeholders
- Establish SOPs and report test progress and risk
