About the Role
You will design liquid cooling and thermal-management components and fluid systems for the X-BAT aircraft. You will engage suppliers, analyze and size systems, and own multiple fluid-system areas. You may travel to Newton, Kansas, to support flight-test control-room operations.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of environmental control systems, liquid cooling systems, thermal systems, component design, system analysis, supplier management, or requirements management experience
- CAD skills, preferably NX
- Proficiency in fluid-system analysis, including first principles, Simscape, or Amesim
- Ability to execute design, build, and test activities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced cross-functional teams
