About the Role

You will design production-ready electronics, safety circuits, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams; select components; create test devices and cases; troubleshoot robot hardware; and maintain BOMs, test procedures, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent training and hands-on experience
  • Experience building and debugging electronics
  • Experience with Altium Designer, microcontroller programming, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
  • Knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current electronics
  • Knowledge of PMSM motor control, DC/DC converters, battery management, and thermal design
  • Understanding of CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
  • Experience with harness design, SolidWorks Electrical, functional safety, test specifications, or Git

Responsibilities

  • Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Design and implement safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Select and integrate motors, drivers, sensors, and power systems
  • Design test devices and write electronics test cases
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronics issues on robots
  • Develop and maintain BOMs, test procedures, and compliance reports
