About the Role
You will act as the primary technical owner and senior subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 and Slack Enterprise Grid, architecting, configuring, and managing these platforms end to end. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely request fulfillment, and partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to keep collaboration solutions compliant. You will design automation solutions, provide L3/L4 escalation support, and mentor junior engineers. You will lead the technical execution of collaboration platform integrations for acquired companies, including Slack-to-Slack, Teams-to-Slack, and Google Workspace-to-Microsoft 365 migrations, and develop M&A integration playbooks. You will drive evaluation, deployment, and governance of AI-powered productivity tools such as Slack AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Glean, Claude, and ChatGPT Enterprise, architecting AI agents and workflow automations. You will define guardrails and best practices for responsible AI use, drive adoption and change management, and partner with the CTO and IT leadership on Gen's AI collaboration strategy. You will also maintain technical documentation, manage ServiceNow workflows, and serve as an escalation point for vendor issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure with a focus on collaboration and digital workplace platforms
- Deep expertise in Slack Enterprise Grid administration including workspace governance and multi-workspace architecture
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration and AI services including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Proven experience leading collaboration platform migrations such as Slack-to-Slack, Teams-to-Slack, and Google Workspace-to-M365
- Demonstrated M&A integration experience including technical assessment and platform consolidation
- Strong proficiency with API-based integrations, webhooks, and workflow automation tools
- Experience integrating collaboration platform logs into SIEM solutions and building monitoring/alerting
- Strong project management and communication skills
Responsibilities

- Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes
- Provide L3/L4 escalation support and mentor junior engineers and administrators
- Lead technical execution of collaboration platform integrations for acquired companies
- Develop and maintain M&A integration playbooks for collaboration-stack consolidation
- Conduct pre-acquisition technical assessments of target company collaboration environments
- Coordinate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and People & Culture teams on migration compliance
- Drive evaluation, deployment, and governance of AI-powered productivity tools
- Architect AI agents and AI-assisted workflow automations
- Design and build foundational Power Platform and M365 Copilot/Copilot Studio environments
- Define and enforce guardrails, policies, and best practices for responsible AI use
- Drive adoption and change management for AI solutions
- Partner with CTO and IT leadership to define Gen's AI collaboration strategy
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks
- Manage ServiceNow catalog items and workflows for collaboration service requests
- Serve as escalation point for collaboration platform issues and work with vendors
- Communicate technical decisions and project status to stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members
