About the Role

You will report directly to Ripple's Deputy General Counsel and play a key role in the mission to implement innovative financial solutions successfully. You will manage an increasing number of vendor agreements and think of ways to streamline the process. You will assist the sales and business development teams with various commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documentation, and manage the deal process. You will also manage and budget for external advisors engaged on such projects, and assist with other commercial or corporate matters as needed.

Requirements

  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials
  • A minimum of 7 years of practice, ideally as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and at a fintech startup
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively
  • Competence in presenting complex issues clearly and concisely, providing succinct, practical, and effective legal advice
