About the Role
This expert-level client-facing role works on-site at client locations to gather requirements, design solutions, lead implementations, configure and integrate systems, conduct testing, deliver training, troubleshoot issues, and support successful go-live across financial services engagements.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience as a functional, solution, or implementation consultant
- Deep expertise in financial services processes such as custody, payments, treasury, banking operations, or capital markets
- Ability to configure systems, work with APIs and databases, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Experience implementing enterprise software solutions in financial services environments
- Ability to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements
- Comfort working on-site at client locations with significant travel of 3+ days per week
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with business users and technical teams
- Ability to collaborate across teams and geographies and deliver high-touch customer engagement
- Understanding of regulated financial services environments and compliance requirements
- German and English for Zurich, French and English for Geneva, or Italian for Lugano
- Location in Switzerland, with Zurich, Geneva, or Lugano based on client needs
- Blockchain, digital asset, or cryptocurrency platform experience preferred
- Avaloq, Temenos, Sopra, Python, SQL, API, system integration, consulting, or professional services experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Work on-site at client locations to understand business operations, processes, and challenges
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis
- Design end-to-end solutions that address business needs while leveraging appropriate technology capabilities
- Lead implementation activities, configure systems, develop integrations, and ensure solutions work as intended
- Translate requirements between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Provide expert guidance on functional best practices and solution approaches
- Configure and customize platforms for client business processes and workflows
- Conduct user acceptance testing, training, and knowledge transfer
- Troubleshoot business process and technical implementation issues
- Document solution designs, configurations, and implementation decisions
- Deliver value across the engagement lifecycle from requirements through go-live and support
