About the Role

You will work on-site at client locations to gather functional and technical requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and lead implementations. You will configure and integrate systems, perform user acceptance testing, deliver training and knowledge transfer, and troubleshoot issues spanning business processes and technical implementations. You will translate requirements between business stakeholders and technical teams, document solution designs and configurations, and ensure successful adoption and go-live while accommodating significant client travel.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years experience as a functional, solution, or implementation consultant
  • Deep expertise in financial services business processes such as custody, payment, treasury, banking operations, or capital markets
  • Ability to configure systems, work with APIs and databases, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise software solutions in financial services environments
  • Ability to gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements
  • Comfortable working on-site at client locations with significant travel (3+ days per week)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across business and technical domains
  • Excellent communication skills to engage business users and technical teams
  • Self-starter able to collaborate across teams and geographies and deliver high-touch customer engagement
  • Understanding of regulated financial services environments and compliance requirements
  • Language proficiency: German and English for Zurich; French and English for Geneva; Italian for Lugano

Responsibilities

  • Work on-site at client locations to understand business operations, processes, and challenges
  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis
  • Design end-to-end solutions that address business needs and leverage appropriate technologies
  • Lead implementation activities, configure systems, develop integrations, and ensure solutions work as intended
  • Translate requirements between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding
  • Provide expert guidance on functional best practices, industry standards, and optimal solution approaches
  • Configure and customize platforms to meet client business processes and workflows
  • Conduct user acceptance testing, training, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption
  • Troubleshoot issues spanning business processes and technical implementations
  • Document solution designs, configurations, and implementation decisions
  • Deliver value across the engagement lifecycle from requirements through go-live and support
