About the Role
You will integrate phenomics, transcriptomics, genomics, and proteomics data to nominate targets, validate disease biology, and define precision oncology strategies. You will develop target-discovery methods, collaborate with scientific and engineering partners, and present analyses that inform program decisions.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant computational field and 3+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, or MS in a relevant field and 5+ years of such experience
- Expertise in precision oncology and target identification
- Understanding of patient genetics and pathway druggability
- Experience applying probabilistic, statistical, or machine learning methods to complex biological or clinical data
- Python or R
- Data visualization
- Cross-functional communication
Responsibilities
- Evaluate molecular evidence for target nomination and validation
- Identify novel vulnerabilities in precision oncology disease biology
- Pilot methods for target discovery, validation, and patient population hypotheses
- Define criteria for target data packages and patient population strategy
- Connect analysis methods with platform and engineering teams
- Build data packages with cross-functional partners
- Present data analyses to decision makers and stakeholders
