About the Role
You will design, secure, and operate AWS and Azure infrastructure to keep production environments resilient and auditable. You will deploy and secure Kubernetes, build observability, respond to incidents, automate infrastructure, manage PostgreSQL, and operate security controls, vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance controls.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, SRE, DevOps, or SecOps
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Operational experience with Kubernetes and container security
- Experience running production security operations
- Infrastructure-as-Code skills with Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or ARM
- Experience with monitoring, logging, incident response, and on-call operations
- Knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes security patterns
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, and alerting tools
- Scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or Go
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- Experience with compliance automation and GRC platforms such as Drata
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AWS and Azure infrastructure
- Deploy and operate secure Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Respond to production and security incidents
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and changes
- Operate and secure PostgreSQL databases
- Optimize infrastructure resilience, performance, and cost
- Operate security controls across cloud, Kubernetes, network, and data layers
- Implement identity and access management controls
- Secure Kubernetes through RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and hardening
- Manage SIEM, logging, threat detection, and security analytics workflows
- Perform vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation coordination, and risk reporting
- Support security incident response and post-incident reviews
- Translate compliance requirements into technical controls
- Drive security improvements through automation, hardening, and risk identification
