About the Role

You will establish aviation cyber-certification processes, procedures, templates, and documentation. You will perform security risk assessments, develop certification evidence, work with certification authorities, embed security requirements into development, and maintain security certification documentation through program milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-9 years of cybersecurity or systems security engineering experience
  • Direct experience with civil aviation airworthiness security or certification programs
  • Experience applying DO-326A/ED-202A, ARP4754B, and DO-356A/ED-203A
  • Experience interfacing with the FAA, EASA, or other certification authorities
  • Ability to build certification processes, procedures, and documentation from the ground up
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with systems, software, safety, and program management teams
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Establish civil aviation cyber-certification processes, procedures, templates, and artifact structures
  • Lead airworthiness security activities aligned to DO-326A/ED-202A and ARP4754B
  • Develop security certification plans and summaries
  • Perform security risk assessments per DO-356A/ED-203A
  • Develop security risk assessments, verification results, and compliance data
  • Serve as a technical contact with certification authorities
  • Embed airworthiness security requirements into design and development
  • Own and maintain security certification documentation and configuration control
  • Build on aviation cyber-certification work supporting military and civil programs
