About the Role

You will own RMF execution and the authorization portfolio for classified systems. You will manage accreditation roadmaps, risk recommendations, continuous monitoring, compliance tooling, security metrics, and government security relationships. You will establish reusable compliance patterns, partner on secure architecture and facility stand-ups, lead classified-system incident response, and ensure auditable least-privilege access and data controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, defense systems, mission systems, or military aerospace programs.
  • Experience leading cybersecurity activities for complex integrated systems or defense platforms.
  • Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, system hardening, network security, secure architectures, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience across hardware, software, networking, and mission-system integration environments.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Own RMF execution across classified systems.
  • Maintain authorization posture for ATOs, IATTs, POA&M items, and assessment findings.
  • Own accreditation roadmaps and dependencies.
  • Represent the organization with government security authorities.
  • Drive reciprocity and control-inheritance strategy.
  • Approve risk-acceptance recommendations, deviations, and mitigations.
  • Define continuous-monitoring strategy and reporting cadence.
  • Standardize package templates, evidence libraries, hardening baselines, and inheritance documentation.
  • Invest in compliance automation.
  • Select and own the security compliance toolchain.
  • Define and report security-posture metrics.
  • Lead classified-system incident response.
  • Ensure least-privilege, auditable access and controlled data transfer and media actions.
