About the Role

You will lead risk-based audits and advisory reviews throughout the audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork to reporting and remediation monitoring. You will evaluate controls, communicate findings, develop corrective actions, apply data analytics, support regulatory examinations, and improve audit methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• At least six years of relevant internal audit experience
• Experience leading audit engagements in financial services, fintech, cryptocurrency, or a highly regulated industry
• Knowledge of audit methodologies, IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks
• Familiarity with financial-institution and cryptocurrency regulations across APAC
• English communication skills
• Proficiency with audit management and data-analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based and regulatory-focused audit plans
• Lead end-to-end audits, thematic reviews, and advisory engagements across APAC
• Define audit scope and procedures, supervise fieldwork, review workpapers, and coach auditors
• Evaluate business processes and the effectiveness of key controls
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations
• Develop corrective actions with control owners and monitor remediation
• Apply data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques
• Monitor APAC regulatory and industry developments
• Support regulatory examinations, external audits, and information requests
• Develop internal audit methodology, risk assessment, reporting, and technology use
