About the Role
You will lead and execute risk-based operational, technology, and cybersecurity audits from assessment and scoping through testing, reporting, and remediation validation. You will evaluate banking systems, applications, infrastructure, and technology service providers; maintain audit risk assessments; improve audit methods; and coach colleagues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of IT audit experience in a regulated financial institution
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit methodologies
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using data analytics and AI tools across the audit lifecycle
- Project management and organizational skills
- Relevant professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CRCM, or CISA
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform risk-based IT audits, including walkthroughs, control testing, workpaper preparation, and reporting
- Assess technology and cybersecurity risks across access management, cloud and infrastructure security, network security, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response
- Audit banking applications and interfaces supporting lending, deposits, and payments
- Evaluate third-party and affiliate-provided technology services and related controls
- Maintain the IT audit universe and risk assessment and inform the annual audit plan
- Contribute to audit methodology, coach colleagues, and support integrated audits
