About the Role
You will manage the annual SOX audit calendar, auditor requests, walkthroughs, evidence delivery, scoping, risk assessments, deficiency tracking, and leadership reporting. You will support GRC platform rollout and use AI-enabled workflows to simplify and accelerate SOX operations.
Requirements
- Big 4 SOX 404 or ICFR audit experience
- Experience working with external auditor teams
- Hands-on SOX 404 experience
- Knowledge of COSO, ICFR, and PCAOB standards
- Experience with Risk and Control Matrices and process documentation
- Experience implementing or administering GRC systems
- Experience reporting program status to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Own the annual SOX audit calendar
- Coordinate external auditor requests, PBC lists, and evidence delivery
- Coordinate walkthroughs and fieldwork with control owners
- Track findings, management responses, and deficiency follow-ups
- Prepare control owners for auditor sessions
- Lead SOX scoping, risk assessments, and quarterly refreshes
- Monitor SOX testing and report status
- Improve control documentation and SOX guidance
- Identify AI-enabled optimization opportunities
- Support rollout and testing of the GRC platform
- Run quarterly sub-certification
- Own SOX lifecycle dashboards and status reporting
