About the Role
You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analysis, support regulatory compliance and audits, improve financial operations, record company transactions, oversee weekly transaction cycles, complete month-end close procedures, maintain schedules, resolve discrepancies, and record adjusting entries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Management or a related field
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Experience in financial services or technology is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting software such as SAP QuickBooks or Xero
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting operations
- Knowledge of accounting practices in fintech blockchain crypto and digital assets
- Accounting or finance certifications such as CPA CMA CFA or CTT are a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial performance insights
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies
- Prepare audit documentation and support auditors
- Streamline financial processes with internal stakeholders
- Participate in finance projects and initiatives
- Record company transactions
- Oversee weekly transaction cycles
- Perform month-end closing procedures
- Maintain monthly schedules
- Resolve discrepancies and account balances
- Record adjusting entries
