About the Role

You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analysis, support regulatory compliance and audits, improve financial operations, record company transactions, oversee weekly transaction cycles, complete month-end close procedures, maintain schedules, resolve discrepancies, and record adjusting entries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Management or a related field
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Experience in financial services or technology is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting software such as SAP QuickBooks or Xero
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of accounting operations
• Knowledge of accounting practices in fintech blockchain crypto and digital assets
• Accounting or finance certifications such as CPA CMA CFA or CTT are a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial performance insights
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies
• Prepare audit documentation and support auditors
• Streamline financial processes with internal stakeholders
• Participate in finance projects and initiatives
• Record company transactions
• Oversee weekly transaction cycles
• Perform month-end closing procedures
• Maintain monthly schedules
• Resolve discrepancies and account balances
• Record adjusting entries
