About the Role
You will work directly with customers to deploy and integrate autonomy software on maritime platforms. You will provide technical support and training, develop AI and autonomy applications, help resolve software and API integration issues, support pre- and post-sales work, create documentation, and share customer feedback with product engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of industry experience
- 2+ years of integration or applications engineering experience
- 2+ years of startup experience
- Software engineering background
- Modern C++
- Python
- Experience developing or integrating software for maritime platforms, marine robotics, or autonomous vessel systems
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Deploy on-site with customers globally to support software integration, development, and on-water testing
- Become an expert user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and autonomy modules
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Develop AI and autonomy applications for maritime missions and platforms
- Support pre-sales demonstrations, conferences, and immersions
- Support post-sales deployment and integration with maritime platform controls, sensors, navigation systems, and communications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials
- Debug software and API integration issues with customers
- Collaborate with product engineering to address customer feedback and improve products
