About the Role
You will develop and maintain Android and Android Automotive OS middleware from the front end through the hardware abstraction layer. You will build products, features, and tools across the stack, design engineering solutions, and ship complex software with infrastructure, automotive, and graphics specialists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Android or iOS mobile app development
- Experience with C++ and Java
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and operating systems
- Knowledge of the Android framework, custom Android HALs, services, and SDK add-ons
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android and Android Automotive OS middleware systems from the front end to the Hardware Abstraction Layer
- Develop products, features, and tools across the stack
- Design solutions to engineering challenges
- Ship complex software with infrastructure, automotive, and graphics engineers
