About the Role
You will maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple legal entities and support global centralized accounting functions. You will lead month-end close activities, prepare and post accounting entries, reconcile cash activity, investigate discrepancies, and analyze variances. You will support intercompany, equity, consolidation, audit, tax, reporting, and finance automation work while improving processes and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience owning general ledgers, reconciling complex accounts, and improving close processes in a multi-entity organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting software
- Ability to adopt new technology and automation tools
- Ability to analyze financial information and communicate issues clearly
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Drive month-end close processes across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
- Prepare and post accounting activity and own critical reconciliations
- Manage automated daily cash reconciliations, investigate breaks, and post resolutions
- Analyze monthly variances, trends, and anomalies
- Support global intercompany and consolidation processes
- Perform ad hoc analyses and improve accounting processes
- Partner with external auditors and tax teams to prepare supporting schedules and documentation
- Contribute to finance automation and AI initiatives for reconciliations, reporting, and close processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
