About the Role
You will prepare management accounts, maintain accounting records, calculate NAV and management fees, and support waterfall computations for private-equity funds. You will assist with audits, financial statements, regulatory returns, tax accruals, and treasury activities. You will also support client onboarding and other operational initiatives.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of private-equity fund-accounting experience
- University degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with NAV calculations, management fees, and waterfall computations
- Understanding of preparing financial statements manually from a trial balance
- Working knowledge of US or UK GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly management accounts for private-equity funds
- Calculate NAV and management fees and assist with waterfall computations
- Maintain accounting records, journal entries, and general ledger updates
- Support annual fund audits and liaise with external auditors and clients
- Prepare draft annual financial statements under UK and US GAAP
- Collaborate with the tax function on tax engagements and accruals
- Assist with regulatory returns
- Support cash management and treasury operations
- Participate in training and client onboarding initiatives
