About the Role
You will own assigned close activities and general-ledger cycles. You will prepare journals, reconciliations, and analyses; coordinate accruals and cutoffs; improve controls and audit readiness; and standardize or automate accounting processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA eligibility.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a high-growth operating environment.
- Proficiency with general ledgers, subledgers, reconciliation tools, Excel, and Sheets.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Ability to collaborate to deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Own close activities for assigned areas, including journals, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and GL-to-subledger integrity.
- Manage general-ledger cycles for accounts receivable, revenue, accruals, fixed assets, deferred revenue, and equity.
- Coordinate accruals and budget-to-actual analysis with accounting and finance partners.
- Identify risks, control gaps, and inefficiencies and drive solutions.
- Standardize templates, automate reconciliations, and streamline the close calendar.
