About the Role
You will manage core accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records. You will perform and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close. You will maintain the general ledger, handle multi-currency and intercompany transactions, support external audits, and help improve accounting systems and controls. You will collaborate with AP, AR, FP&A and other teams and support special projects and system implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably a mix of public accounting and industry
- Experience with inventory management is a plus
- Experience in a publicly traded technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital asset company is a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with foreign exchange transactions
- Experience with intercompany reconciliation and eliminations
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting schedules
- Manage multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange transactions
- Coordinate month-end and year-end close across international subsidiaries
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Support preparation of schedules for external audits and ensure audit compliance
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls
- Support special projects, system implementations, and process automation efforts
- Collaborate with AP, AR, FP&A and other departments to ensure timely financial information
