About the Role
You will help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under the German Commercial Code and independently prepare consolidated financial statements. You will address accounting questions, maintain accounting quality, advance process digitization, support audits, liaise with auditors, and provide technical support for ongoing corporate taxation.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with an accounting or finance focus, or vocational training with certified-accountant qualification and relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of HGB
- IT affinity and process orientation
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Negotiation-level German and very good written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB
- Prepare consolidated financial statements independently
- Resolve accounting and financial-reporting issues
- Ensure accounting quality
- Contribute to the digital transformation of processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Liaise with auditors and internal departments
- Support ongoing corporate taxation
