About the Role
You will support the full post-trade lifecycle for securities-account and PEA transfers, from processing instructions through settlement at Euroclear France. You will communicate with banks, brokers, custodians, issuers, and clients; reconcile securities and cash movements; investigate failed or rejected instructions; maintain PEA tax records; process registered-share operations; and improve procedures, SLA and KPI monitoring, and automation.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's programme in Finance, Banking, Economics, or Law and be able to sign an internship agreement
- Have native-level or bilingual French proficiency and be comfortable working in English
- Have strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Be confident using spreadsheets
- Have experience in banking, back office, middle office, or securities operations is a plus
- Have knowledge of PEA, post-trade operations, Euroclear France, SQL, or Python is a plus
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing securities account and PEA transfers from request receipt through securities and cash settlement
- Communicate with banks, brokers, custodians, and clients and follow up on requests
- Check securities and cash positions and reconcile movements with the custodian
- Investigate unsettled or rejected instructions and coordinate their resolution
- Review and record PEA tax statements
- Process French registered-share conversions, registrations, and deregistrations
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs, write operating procedures, and identify automation opportunities
