About the Role
You will develop, optimize, and validate cell-based and biochemical assays for automated high-throughput screening. You will execute workflows at scale, analyze data, troubleshoot processes, document protocols and results, and improve transferable assay workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant industry or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Experience developing and optimizing cell-based or biochemical assays.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
- Knowledge of molecular and cell biology techniques, including transfection and nucleic acid and protein handling.
- Experience with automated laboratory instrumentation, including liquid handlers, plate readers, and imagers.
- Experience with 384- and 1536-well formats.
- Experience documenting protocols and results in an electronic lab notebook or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based and biochemical assays.
- Execute assay workflows at scale and monitor quality metrics.
- Analyze experimental data to validate processes and troubleshoot systems.
- Document methods, results, and protocols for reliable workflow transfer.
